Anticipation requires patience. Waiting on God is not easy to practice in the midst of struggle on the micro and macro levels. To be patient, we need to reinforce our hearts with the support of others who can bear witness to Jesus at work.

A theme word for the season of Advent is "Anticipation." Anticipation changes perception. It affects our hearts and minds. It better prepares us. Without anticipation, that Christ came and will come again, is lost in the commercial aspects of the season.
