North Korea

ACC's North Korea mission program first began as an extension of ACC’s China mission. It recently broke off into its own mission, however, to better focus on North Korea. The North Korea mission seeks to tangibly demonstrate the love of Christ to the people of North Korea by supporting efforts to provide direct food aid to those in need as well as supporting business and community development initiatives.

The overseas trip portion of the North Korea mission program takes place in Northeast China and North Korea. Team members will have the opportunity to interact and worship with many of the field workers living and serving in the area and learn more about the various North Korea aid and outreach projects. The team will also accompany our main contacts on a multi-day visit to North Korea to foster cross-cultural exposure and provide team members with the opportunity to visibly model Christ in an otherwise spiritually dark nation.

Additionally, the North Korea mission program seeks to educate interested parties in this area about the North Korean situation and equip members to help make a difference in the lives of the North Korean people, both in the field and from where we are here in the U.S. To that end, the North Korea mission members will meet regularly throughout the year and will collaborate with other related organizations.
