CUMAC

The purpose of the CUMAC (Center of United Methodist Aid to the Community) ministry is to feed the hungry in our local community and transform the lives of those who are seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Located less than 5 miles from ACC, CUMAC is a food pantry located in Paterson, NJ. CUMAC feeds about 2000 low-income people a month. The families are usually single parent, disabled, or senior citizens. CUMAC does receive aid from county and state agency grants, however relies heavily on donations from individuals and groups like ACC. A thrift shop is also part of CUMAC which also helps the funding and operation of the organization.

The CUMAC ministry is a yearly ministry, feeding and clothing less fortunate people in the northern New Jersey area. ACC has been able to support CUMAC with food drives, clothing/shoe collections, volunteer opportunities and holiday gift drives.
