Malawi
Malawi has been a mission destination for ACC since 2008. In many ways, those who sign up for missions in Malawi can expect a very unique experience. This mission trip normally involves several days of Vacation Bible School in order to minister to the children in Malawi, as well as a feeding ministry which focuses on providing food for villages that the mission team visits. Additionally, the trip to Malawi involves the missionaries in a pastor's school that seeks to help local pastors grow their ministries. In 2010, the mission team spearheaded a water pump ministry which aimed at providing the region of Kauma with clean drinking water, and future mission efforts to Malawi will strive to incorporate this type of project. Throughout all the work that the Malawi mission strives to do, the ultimate aim is to spread the name of Jesus Christ in another part of the world.
This year’s mission trip to Malawi will take place on 07/01 – 07/12. We will be serving in various capacities: conference for pastors and church leaders, VBS and clean water projects. The trip will cost in total $2,500. The applications are available on the welcome desk and will be available online. All applications will be due on 04/29 with a $250 deposit.
