Softball
The ACC softball program consists of two (depending on total interested participants) teams that are open to all. The first, or "Recreational," team plays in more relaxed and less competitive-orientated games by participating in the Pray for Missions (PFM) League. The focus of this activity is to promote healthy competition and fellowship by playing softball in a Christian environment.
The second, or "Competitive," team engages in the CFL (Christian Fellowship League) program and is suitable for those who want to be involved in a more intense activity. Open try-outs are held in early spring (early April) and mandatory practices and participation are required.
Both teams generally play from April-August each year on Sunday afternoons (depending on weather conditions). Since these are club sports, fundraising and participation fees may apply, especially for the Competitive program.
