Reverend Sam Park
ACC Lead Pastor
Pastor Sam Park was born and raised in the New York City area. He thought he was going into medicine or architecture but God began to tug at his heart to be in pastoral ministry beginning with a gracious promise of blessing while he was on a mission trip to Mexico. After graduating Drew Theological School, he served churches in New York and Maryland and was ordained in 2008. He joined Arcola Covenant Community as lead pastor in September 2013. Pastor Sam has a heart for the local church and missions, and loves to see disciples of Jesus making disciples of Jesus. He and his wife Grace are blessed with two wonderful children. When not involved in ministry, one of the things he likes to do is to spend time working with his hands – whether playing with Legos or making home repairs. He’s been told he has a sweet tooth.
Cedric has always had a “thing” for music, even from the tender young age of 3, when he would dance unapologetically to the tunes of Michael Jackson. As a military kid, he grew up outside of Fort Bragg, NC in Fayetteville where he and his little sister would attend several Korean churches over the years with his mother. It was during his teenage years that Cedric devoted his life to Christ and felt a strong calling into ministry. From that point forward, he has held several different positions in ministry, including the ministry of Praise & Worship. At the age of 27, after having served at Covenant Love Church in Fayetteville, NC for 9 years, Cedric made a decision to move to New Jersey to get involved in what God is doing here. Cedric currently attends Alliance Theological Seminary where he is pursuing his master’s in Biblical Studies & Church development. In his spare time, Cedric likes to work out, compose music, and find a solid coffee spot to hang with friends.
